Abdulla Sarab is an Emirati director, cinematographer, and fashion designer working across film, fashion, and visual storytelling.
He is the founder of VeryCrude, a creative studio built around the idea of “emotion in its rawest form” — honest, unfiltered, and deeply human.
His work is driven by an interest in the parts of human experiences that are difficult to articulate. The tension before a decision. The weight of uncertainty. A mind that feels clouded. The feeling of nervousness that somehow becomes butterflies in the stomach.
He is fascinated by how we instinctively turn these intangible experiences into images and metaphors. How something we cannot see can still be felt, imagined, and given a visual form.
Through film, photography, and fashion, Abdulla
seeks to tell stories rooted in Gulf culture—exploring universal human emotions through the places, people, traditions, and visual language of the region.
